Healthcare's relationship with AI is changing. The early questions were whether AI belonged in healthcare and how fast it would arrive. Now the questions are practical: What should it do? Who stays accountable? Who can be trusted to build it?

To find out, Cohere Health and Wakefield Research asked the people closest to the work. Our second annual provider survey reached 200 clinicians and office administrators across U.S. hospitals and medical systems, with a focus on prior authorization.
